How to Become a Food safety Officer??

               A bachelor's degree in food technology, dairy technology, biotechnology, oil technology, or agriculture from an accredited university is required of applicants. The written examination and document verification are the two steps that the Board has established for the selection procedure.

The Designated Officer, who is not below the level of a Sub-Divisional Officer, is appointed by the Commissioner of Food Safety by order to be in charge of food safety administration in such area as may be defined by regulations.  Each district of a state must have a designated officer.
