HEARING PROTECTION FOR SAFETY EMPLOYEES | AIM VISION SAFETY T&C

OVERVIEW OF HEARING PROTECTION :

Long-term exposure to high amounts of noise can harm your hearing. You might not notice the little degradation from one day to the next because it happens so slowly and painlessly. Noise pollution in the workplace can cause hearing loss and other health issues.

EFFECTS :

High-frequency sound processing components of the ear are frequently the first to be damaged. The severity of the hearing loss is determined by the volume of the noise and the length of time you are exposed to it. Gunshots and other sudden explosive sounds can inflict immediate injury.

Tinnitus is a ringing sound that occurs in certain persons who are subjected to excessive noise. There is no cure for most cases of noise-induced hearing loss. Only hearing aids.

PROBLEMS FOR WORKERS :

WAY TO PROTECT YOUR HEARING:

           Turn the volume down.
Walk away from the loud noise.
           Take breaks from the noise.
Avoid loud, noisy activities and places.
           Use hearing protection.
